These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PasalSathi. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use PasalSathi.
PasalSathi is a business management app for Nepali shopkeepers and small businesses, operated by Sanjog Basnet (ABN 49 541 449 108), available at pasalsathi.net. Contact us at hello@pasalsathi.net.
PasalSathi provides point-of-sale billing, digital khata (credit ledger), inventory, staff management, voice billing, and reporting tools for your business. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the app.
Your business data — sales, khata, customers, products — belongs to you. We store and process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings; deleting your account permanently removes your business data.
PasalSathi is a tool to help you record and manage your business. It is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for the correctness of your records, your tax filings, VAT/PAN and IRD compliance, and any decisions you make based on the app. Features such as voice billing and automatic calculations are aids — always review them before confirming a sale or report.
You agree not to:
PasalSathi is currently free during Early Access. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we will notify you clearly in advance, and you may choose whether to continue. Founding shops that join during Early Access keep the discount we promise them. We will never start charging your account without your consent.
We work hard to keep PasalSathi reliable, including offline support so you can keep selling without internet. However, the service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We are not responsible for losses caused by downtime, device issues, or connectivity problems outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PasalSathi and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, during the free period, is zero).
You may stop using PasalSathi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the service. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
We may update these Terms as the app grows. If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use PasalSathi after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Nepal, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
